Yes, however hand brake is different, you need compensators for the 1.9 set up and it will be too wide for the base model shell, better off going for a 1.6, better hand brake too.

i heard alot of people say steer clear of the 1.9 for base model arches otherwise i would have done the same when i changed over a couple of weeks back.

Doesn't the 1.9 rallye just have a 1.6 rear beam on it? At least mine had drums. Like my 1.3
