Bike Carb Manifold

Got a xs 1400 tu3s im going to use 5mm plate but need an idea on pipe diameter and pipe thickness also a good length for the pipe.(planning on bending the pipes 90° to vertical as playing on using carbs that face down like the fz 750carbs not the typical R6/R1 or cbr carbs i want it so when i put air filters or trumpets on they face up and wont take up 2 much space

 

Oh almost forgot there a pipe running to the brake servo and heater matrix pipes can i just weld a fittkng into the pipe to attach these to
