Mud Flaps

Recommended Posts

BenV

I have always wanted mud-flaps on my car as I think black mud-flaps on a white car look great anyway on top of this I live on a farm and the lane to get to the main road is very long and muddy. My question is do they still do the official mud-flaps if yes where can I get them? Or if not where can I get decent fakes/alternatives?

if they do them the only place to get the original ones will be a dealer, or some unscrupulous individual that has bought all remaining stock from the dealer to sell on at an inflated price.

The original rubber ones haven't been available for a couple of years now. All you can get now (even from a Pug dealer) are crappy plastic ones which don't fit very well.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with the fitment of the plastic front mudguards.

yeah i agree basically a couple of months back after i first got the car i decided that mud flaps were going on it so i rushed out and bought some half decent "universal" ones that are supposed to fit the front and back of a various selection of cars (one of which was the 205 GTi) but when offered them up to the rear arch there's nothing to attach it to. yet the front ones look as if they would fit so well. (saying that i havent put them on yet as i want all four together really)

Both sets I had sat at a silly angle, and had to have extra mounting holes made to fit right. Both were genuine Pug pairs - one from a dealer, and the other from Neat Autos.

I also agree. And IMO they look much better than the horrible wanky rubber ones. Personal taste I guess.

P.S. "flaps"
