Badges/stickers

The "badges" on the C-pillar (the 1.9 and GTI ones) on my car has been painted over. I have painted them matte black again, but would like the original text on them.

 

Has anyone heard about stickers or any other way of getting that back?

ok, did that. Didn't really find anything that could help me restore them. Only sales stuff and a thread with an outdated group buy :-(

I was hoping for someone having the font or vector based files, so I might be able to get some stickers created somewhere.

I've searched for 2.0 GTi6 vector files in the past so I could print some off for myself from vinyl, but unsurprisingly people who have traced the typeface have kept it to themselves.

 

One day I will find the time to sit down and trace/create some vectors myself - but that's not a priority right now.

I too would be interested in any information about this. I believe Dr.Sarty used to have a group by years ago but seems it is defunct.
