Gti6\ph2 Vts Map Sensor

I'm some way through putting a Phase 2 VTS engine into my 205, as the VTS engine originally came from a Multiplex'ed car i'm using a GTi6 loom which i've modded to fit to the 205...

 

However it seems i have the wrong MAP sensor for the 6 loom in the VTS Manifold, i understand this is a common issue and most people fit a sensor from a '6' engine, however i was wondering if anyone could tell me if the sensors are the same electronically and i can just fit the plug from the VTS loom i now have spare, or if i deffinetly need another sensor?
