Electric Speedo Sensor Instead Of A Cable

Hello,

 

I put an electric speedo sensor in my gearbox.

Because using the cable is become impossible due to the turbo above the gearbox, downpipe and screampipe.

 

How can I make this electric signal working on my dashboard?

(Only by using a dashboard of a 306, or are there any other options?)

The 205 gauge is mechanical and so you definetly cannot use it with the later electrical speed sensor. Fitting a speedo from a 306 or such is a possibility i suppose, but a much simpler option would be to use a longer speedo cable, maybe from a 405/ZX/early 306 to clear the turbo etc with some heat shielding perhaps. Just an idea.
