Uprated Torsion Bars

i am just in the process of sorting out the rear suspension on my hillclimb car and am wondering who is the best supplier of uprated bars any recomendations would be greatfully appreciated

There's a chap who has been supplying this forum for some time. I think the bars on my 309 would have originally come from him.

I had a very bad and expensive experience buying torsion bars off here. If you buy from a reputable company you won't go wrong.

Make the the splines are machined properly.

I agree with Miles. I've bought a few sets from 309PUG now. Excellent quality and superb pricing.

I've got PTS bars and bars off Anthony/205turbo and they're all good. The PTS bars are nicer made but at extra cost.

 

AFAIK the bars Spoox sell are from the same place that Anthony/205turbo,IMAXLE and numerous group buys on 106rallye get there's?

You need ask two questions:

 

What are they made from?

and

Are they hardened and tempered?

 

If they can't or won't answer pass them by.
