Help With Engine Sensors, And 4 Stray Wires On Ecu Loom

Recommended Posts

Anthony

From top to bottom:

Oil pressure guage sender

High coolant temperature switch

Low oil pressure switch

Coolant temperature gauge sender

Oil level sender (not used on 205 conversions)

Wiring I can't make out in the tiny picture, but will likely be the alternator, starter solenoid, oil pressure gauge and low oil pressure switch

hi yeah sorry guys forgot to state that,

its a bx loom which has been shortened and re done by miles a few years back!

i have just rebuilt enigine and replaced every sensor and basically everything electrical etc under the bonnet, we noticed as we fed the loom back into the bay that these 4 wires hadnt been connected by the looks of it,

bearing in mind the car was running for a year before i took it out to re do the works, i only had a working speedo, petrol and rev counter in the gauges and wondered if this would be the reason why or if i just had knackered sensors

cheers for the help :)
