Im Back!

im finally back in the 205 fold.................... sort of

 

after my wife to be in 16 days said i could have another 205 project,then having a win on the horses at her hen do,she started bidding on a complete wreck of a red 1.9 in york,we got out bid in the last few minutes and we were both left gutted

 

she then went on a mission to get me another,and in that same night she found me this nice white 1991 1.6

 

few texts and phone calls were passed and we went and got it last night for not very many pennies

 

it has no engine or gearbox but its 100% standard,even has the cassette player

 

i was going to drop a gti6 lump in that i have got and modify it lightly but after looking and seeing just how standard it was i have decided to restore it to factory condition

 

i cant staart work on this untill after my wedding but i thought i would share it with you guys

 

it does need a fair bit of work,the paint been the main bit,im going to rip it to bits sort any rust issues and stop it in its tracks,id also like to strip underneath and re underseal it ect.going to be a long winded project but with what i have in mind it will be worth it

Nah, but the registration plate is an old Stockton one so the car has not moved much over the years and the chances are I will have seen a similar plate years ago via the Peugeot Sport Club Yorks / northern events
