Clutch Release Bearings?

Hi Guys,

A question for you all! I've read quite a lot on this topic but could do with an answer!

Pretty simple symptoms, grinding/knocking sound while idling, then I press the clutch in and it dissapears!! I've had a new clutch fitted last month. Is this noise to do with the clutch or gearbox??

likely to be input shaft bearings if it had a new clutch, given they come with release bearings.
