What Exhaust Diameter?

Looking into making an exhaust for my track car.

 

I'm going to keep the std gti6/VTS manifold for conveinience, what diameter is thought best for the rest of the system? Or do I go for std dimensions?

 

Engine will be broadly std with the addition of bodies and aftermarket ecu.

 

Any advice welcome.
