306 Clutch Cable On A 205

I've just fitted a 306 paddle clutch and a 306 Dturbo gear box on my 1.9 XUD 205. Only jst realised the cable is about an inch too short. Can anyone tell me if the clutch peddle ends are the same?

if its a post 1990 pedal they are, 306 cables like for like are about 15-20mm longer

My 205's 91. I've mananged to get in working temporarily. It was actually about 3 inches too long so what i've done just to check it all works is use a long socket to space it out which seems to work. Clutch is surprisingly light which is a bonus, unless somethings gone wrong
