Handbrake Warning Light

Is the warning light on the dash that tells you the handbrake is on needed for the MOT? Cheers

I don't think it is required.

the only case where a brake warning light is checked for operation is on Air Brake equipped vehicles for the low air pressure warning.

Thanks for the reply, thats good as I'm tidying up the wiring on my track car and wondered if I could do away with that part of the loom. Good link to the MOT manual as well
