Just out of curiosity, what power are these when standard and what were the differences between the phase 1's and 2's?

130bhp aren't they? And from memory not much between phases as far as I can remember, different front bumper design but I think thats it? Still run 3fte and ct9 turbo. Very fun cars to drive, very very easy to mod for more power too!

I went down to Alan Jefferies with a friend who had one. His read 120 as it had running issues and I'm sure I remember Alan stating that standard ones usually read 130/135 all day long and was surprised this one was so low.

given a totally standard one comes in at under 900 kilos, and is quite tunable, don't count on it

my mates got one, just spend a fiew grand on it and it goes like fooooooook, fully forged engine and huuuuge turbo. take a look at some of my mates vids, http://www.youtube.com/user/mattymaxx?feature=watch even stock ones people are just putting scooby turbos on and that makes them go loads better

Only a 1300 so they pay low rate tax, its the way forward! Nice cars though, i have been thoroughly trounced by one yet was faster than another, so its all about the state of tune it seems.

My g/f has a gt one rr at 186 hp her last one was faster it passed my mates ko3s hybrid Ibiza like it was standing still they don't handle well std but a rear arb sorts it love to drive her car

Watch for some aswell as 4wd ones are getting common and make for a proper sleeper

As said handling standard is abit pants but afew choice suspension mods such as the rear arb and theyre a whole lot better. In standard tune nowhere near an 8v turbo GTI (proven by my best mate having one and me having my old grey 8v turbo) and absolutely trounced him. Afew mods later though (new exhaust mani, ported turbo, fmic, decat and slightly larger bore exhaust) and we were practically level. Plus the fact thats already been made that theyre 1300 tax bracket and a whole lot more reliable than my 205 was! just the insurance on them seems to have risen across the board, the friends of mine that have them plus the forums they on, all theyre insurance costs have gone up considerably.

I see it as the modern day R5GTT. Albeit a tiny bit more reliable. They are good fun. But over priced for what you get
