Gaz Coilovers

Recommended Posts

Iain-gti

Hi,

I have fitted Gaz coilovers to my car a while ago and im just sorting out the ride height, the rear wheels are level/little bit higher than the rear arches but the front i cant get close. With the coilovers fully wound down the spring is loose and is a pain to seat properly but even then its not level with front arches. Any ideas can fit smaller springs but seating them is going to be annoying.

thanks

Iain

how long are the springs? shorter springs might be the only way if the platform is already fully wound down and its not low enough.

helper springs should avoid any extra movement when the spring is decompressed

Isn't this why you use helper springs?

It will handle like a sack of s*it that low. Aim for the wishbones to be horizontal and NOT pointing uphill to the wheel.

What length springs did you opt for?

Gaz supplied mine with helper springs fitted, might be worth giving them a call, but please listen to Tom, don't drop the car that low. You'll be a hazard to yourself and others.
