by the looks of it, a Bosch converted DHY 1.9 DT engine in a phase2 306, probably running more fuel+boost ;)

 

The DHY loved to throw rods with abandon a few years ago, thought all the dodgy ones had gone by now, my brothers late phase1 went past 200k miles and it lives on in a 205 now :D

 

not sure what the actual cause was as the D8B predecessor and the DHX in the 406 seemed to escape this fate.

11mm Bosch pump, maxxed out KKK k14 or something?

 

Wasn't the reason for the rod to chuck on some engine was becuase they used NA rods? I best get my HDi rods fitted :blink:
