Sorry Another Bit Of Help Needed Please.

Recommended Posts

Ok I have fixed my daughters car and prior to the accident it would shake initially through the gear stick at approximately 40mph then through the floor at 65 to 70 mph, but not really through the steering wheel. Now I did ask her to spend a weekend with me to fix it, however she seemed to think that staying over at friends was more important. I did hope that maybe with a new wishbone, and TRE I could be lucky and fix the shaking too. I have also had the cars tracking done by laser. So any help welcome. Sorry forgot to say it is a 1.4 206 manual.

Thanks

Jeremy

Is that my answer or your suggestion? Any obvious ways to tell which side needs replacing? Thanks

It is my suggestion from previous experience, a 306 I owned years ago had the same symptoms. Does the shaking get worse when power is applied, but seems to go away when you lift off the throttle?

Will test more tomorrow, as unsure if due to acceleration.
