Fuel Line Fittings, Sizes And Thread Types?

Recommended Posts

nickaliath

Hello all,

Need some help with fuel line fittings.

Im after buying new banjo & bolt fittings (on fuel filter) and also the fitting that goes on the fuel rail.

Does anyone know the sizes of these parts i.e thread size and type??

Thanks

Nick

Banjo's and bolts from the fuel filter I can let you have if that helps. Obviously if you want new that's fine, but offers there.

I thought the fuel rail on an 8v was a push on type, mind you it's been a long time since I've looked at one.

Contact Powers on this forum - he runs Torques a fuel line/hose fitting specialist.

Pressure feed from filter to rail is a threaded union. Low pressure return from fuel reg to tank is push on/clipped.

I'm annoyed that I threw one out. Hope it's not too much bother to source another.

Is it the same as the banjo on the filter or smaller?

I know the thread on the top of the filter is smaller than on the bottom.
