Gearstick Position :s

hi all, well my gear stick has always been very close to the drivers seat when in neutral which didnt really bother me but now i have to skip 4th to get into 5th and have no idea whats wrong any ideas?

Have you looked from underneath and seen if there's anything catching any of the linkages??

Hello,

do you have adjustable gear rods?

They have lock nuts and if yours is getting worse it sounds like a lock nut may of come undone and slowly be moving, explaining why you can no longer get forth gear.

They can't move when fitted even if the locknut has come loose.

 

Pop them off and adjust them, this will move where the lever sits.
