I notice theres an unlocked gti6 ecu for sale on here, i sold some for about £40. This ones up for £170, are they getting that rare then?

Look at his location - I suspect that parts like that are much harder to get hold of in the Netherlands than they are here where 306's and Xsara's are broken willy-nilly, and thus more expensive as a result. This isn't a UK only site remember, despite the bulk of members being from the UK.

There are already people that do just that, both with parts and complete cars, for 205's and many other makes and models.

 

At the end of the day, he can ask what he wants for the ECU - it's clearly priced and it's up to a prospective buyer as to whether it is worth that.

 

I think sometimes UK members forget just how fortunate that we are when it comes to price and availability.
