Hi,

I'm fitting the BBM conversion hose and I'm being a complete bell end but can't work out where the right angle pipe goes from and to?! It's heater matrix to ...?!?! I think.

Thanks in advance

One of the heater matrix pipes T's into the pipe from the expansion tank to the thermostat housing

The other heater matrix pipe goes to the other outlet on the thermostat housing, but the hose needs to be cut down to suit as (assuming it's still the same) Stew supplies the Mi16 hose which is too long.

You can't go wrong.

One has a T piece which goes to the matrix block and header.

On the BBM site it describes which goes where.

I'd have a quick look at your lower pipe and make sure you have the correct pipe for your engine.

I have connected the t piece to that, but can't work out where this right angled one (90 degree bend in it and ends are facing same way) goes!

You are obviously looking at the 'Top middle, under the 2 others' hose.

You'll have to do as Anthony mentions, and cut the end off of it. Put it to the matrix, and when you are happy enough with the length of it to avoid the exhaust manifold, get a stanley knife and slice through it.

If I'm honest, on a £200 kit I would expect to receive it already chopped off by the manufacturer to avoid this 'confusion' that a lot of people appear to face.

If you're still having second thoughts, I can get a picture later on of mine to show you exactly what we mean.

nah i thought i went that way but was confused as it didnt fit, so cuttin it makes sense. Im not running a heater matrix just deciding on best way to cut them to connect them.
