Engine Swap Now Knocking Noise In Reverse

Hi all

 

Pretty much what the title says have swapped out a1.6gti lump and dropped in a 1.9, also had to replace drivers side shaft do to boot issues, now I have noticed a intermittent knocking noise but only in reverse sometimes it will happen but then sometimes it won't I think its coming from the passenger side but a friend seemed to think drivers, has anybody got any pointers to what to try ??

Reverse around a corner both ways and listen out if it get any louder one way, could be a cv joint gone

Not tried the corner method but does it in a straight line

Would that be enough to be able to feel it through the steering wheel ?
