Yeah it is! Used to be my favourite project on here, actually I think it may have even been the reason I joined. For some reason he was banned and the thread got deleted, I never knew why.. seemed a nice enough guy.

He and that car were at Cholmondely Pageant of Power last year on our stand, he turned up early and put it on the stand and I never saw him as we left early, its very nice in the flesh. It also attended a rolling road day in North Staffs/South Cheshire as far as im aware, only ran on one engine though on the day

He was (and still is) registered as Martin&PRD, and had a project topic for this a few years ago. He disappeared - I thought he'd closed his account or been banned, but a search reveals his account is still there but not been logged in to since Feb 10 - and the topic was deleted.

 

He's back on the forum now, registered under another account name (naughty naughty) and has made a few updates to this, but not as an official project thread. I won't say too much, but he made a comment in an unrelated thread a few weeks ago which kind of threw some light on his disappearance from here, which apparently was due to a disagreement with a moderator/Team Manager over a deal for his services. Shame that the wider community subsequently lost out on what was a bloody good build topic at the time But I think he may have been putting updates on Pistonheads since then.

 

EDIT: it's really bugging me now that I can't remember his recent username, and I can't find anything using Google search. Has he disappeared again?
