Nothing Out The Nipple..

Recommended Posts

MiniGibbo

Bleed my brakes today and nothing came out the rear drivers drum.. With the eezibleed kit fitted and under pressure I removed the entire nipple and nothing came out :(

Dont understand as it drives fine, dosent pull to one side or seem to be a "corner down" when braking..?

Could I be right in thinking its crud in the hole..?

If its just the one it wont be that then. I would assume you car still runs the twin lines to the rear? I changed to single.

Put your pressure bleeder on and hold the system under pressure and just work you way back, crack off the brake pipe to the wheel cylinder and check for fluid,if you still have none go back to the flexy and so on.

E.G if you have no fluid after the flexy but do before it then the flexy has collapsed.

Hope that helps you

Yeah I was tempted to try that this afternoon but I lost interest tbh lol..

I did visually check the lines upto the fuel tank and theres no crushes or signs of leaking.

If it was a flexy you wouldnt see it visually, they break down internally so the only way is to get the tools out and get dirty lol

Yeah I meant the solid line upto the flexi.

I'll have to look into it though as that corner must still have old fluid in it, which isn't great.

It dosent overly concern me at present as I'm sure the drum is still working, I've driven cars with dodgey brakes and this drives fine IMO.
