what is the point of removing the entire roof? is it just to aid fitting of the cage? is it just easier than filling in the sunroof? what do they replace the roof with and how is it fixed on after?

given they needed to sort the sunroof and it saves drilling a few holes in the floor and makes it so much quicker welding the cage tubes al the way around, its worth doing,

 

what do they replace the roof with? :lol another roof panel, its spot welded on as per original panel, only about £100.

If you dont have the sunroof you can do it the way Colin did my car - strap the cage up to the roof and fit the bottom floor mounts after.

wont be carbon, they aren't legal for many classes of competition at all, did you not watch the vid and see the guy welding it in place? :lol

I think you can only use a carbon roof in time attack.
