Recommended Posts

Hi

I can buy a rear beam from peugeot 309 non Gti. Can I put the rear arm from this 309 on my rear beam from 205 gti? I have to change a axle of wheel. It's this possible?

Thank you

Dario

Yes you can use the rear arms from a 309 - I would strongly suggest swapping both arms to keep them as a matched pair.

I had buy a rear arm from 309 NON Gti. The 309 arms are the some dimension like od 205. It's ok? Or only a arm of 309gti are wider than arm from 205?

The arms are identical length 309 vs. 205. The 309 axle tube is longer than 205.

The wheel bearing axle is different length in drumbrake arm and diskbrake arm.

So...Can I mount a axle tub from 309 on 205? No, because the mounting position it's wider on 309 than ob 205...rigth?

So...what I'm need to have a larger rear beam?
