306/406 Bmc - Which One?

I believe what I have currently fitted to my car is a full standard 1.9 GTI braking system, with the addition of 306 GTI-6 front calipers. The pedal travel is too long for my liking.

 

I understand I need a 4-port master cylinder from a non-ABS 306/406, but which one? From which model? Are they all the same (23mm?) bore?

Early non-ABS 406 is what you need - this is 23mm bore, 4 port, and the correct fitment for a 205 servo.
