Cti Roof Cover

Has anyone got any good ideas on what to do with the roof cover that slides on when we are lucky enough to have a sunny day and feel the wind in our (now receeding) hair.

At the moment mine is just rattling around the boot and no doubt adding lots of scuff marks and possibly damaging the plastic parts. Ideally I wouldnt leave it in the back seat as thats where the ladies have to sit. haha

I was thinking of making a little cubby hole in the boot but wondering if anyone had done something similar I could rip off or, dare i say, improve upon.

Have thought the same with mine but sadly not done anything about it. What colour/ year is yours? Mine is white and a 1990 on a G plate

Mine does tend to go on the back seat under my wind deflector or into the boot as you have to open the boot anyway to fit it correctly

Mine is cherry red. 1989 also on a G plate. not had it long so not got any photos on my laptop.

Yours looks really nice though, my plastic is a bit faded and in need of a touch up. I dont have the wind deflector.

I'm happy to keep it in the boot but would rather it was kept somewhere secure to stop it getting scuffed up or damaged when its sliding around. I was planning on making a little MDF divider that would keep it secure but didnt want to drill holes all over the place to keep it secure.

Just put some carpet in the boot and roll it up on its ends. Mine is go8ing a bit dusty as the ancient glue does tend to dry out and put a yellow powder on the hood at times

Would help a bit for when its just the cover but wont stop other stuff causing damage. I'll post some photos of how I get on and then you can copy me if you want. haha :P
