Ebay Sound Proofing

Ive currently got my carpet and seats out and my old sound mat is a bit tatty. I was wondering if anyone has ever tried those self adhesive pads that are one ebay. That or someone is selling Jute felt, anyone tried that?

 

Not after anything amazing just something to dull the road noise a little without spending to much

screwfix - self adhesive foil backed roof flashing, see my soundproofing thread

that and

car builder solutions - self adhesive acoustic dampening.

 

both will help reverberation and road noise. I measured a 10db drop ish which is roughly half the noise.

Brilliant stuff. Used some of this years ago in a car and was very impressed with the results.

Not only helps reduce noise and vibrations but in cabin temperatures!
