Handbreak Light Intermittent Link Please?

I've seen the answer to my question before but when I searched the title it told me a words were under 3 characters long...??

 

Can someone please link me to the right thread??

 

My hand break light is coming on intermittently when driving.. I thought this was a coolant level warning but it's still happening after a top up...??

 

Like I say, apologies for another thread asking the same question, my search isn't working right...

try spelling brake correctly

 

most likely to be low brake fluid level.

Mine did this after a brake fluid change, so could just be the wires need a wiggle/poor connection.

As Welshpug said, likely that the brake fluid needs topping up to the maximum mark.

Just been out to have a closer inspection.

Although the fluid is not at lowest level, it's leaking from the little rubber seals below the tank, so has got to be that...

 

Will have to take as much of the fluid out before sorting it, and top it up for now... Bugger!! Got a new mc sitting in the cupboard but it's not so simple to change now I've got the 6 lump lmao
