I know the bushes are gonna be crap, so I'll replace them, but does anyone have any experience of the BJ quality? I can accept its not going to last as long as OEM but I'm not up for replacing them every year...

if your after just a cheap wishbone, try MillAutos.. I'm almost certain they were under £40 last time I needed one..

Cheap wishbones are a false economy, there are a few sellers on ebay offering the Motaquip (oe) 205 GTI wishbones for less than that seller, iirc neat have a pair of them on for under £100 delivered.

In 205 fit yes, but the 309 ones are no longer available from Motaquip.

so if i were to buy the cheapo 309 bones, what sort of longevity would I be looking at for the balljoint?

thing is I've got my old 205 bones at home which are in pretty good nick, but it would feel like a bit of a backward step...

They were cheaper than firstline and bushes are pretty much OE quality
