I'd say it's probably worth the asking price mate. It looks perfect

So did you buy it!?!?

Had one once for about an hour.

A few mate's have had them, most recently a couple of 16v TU converted ones, quick!

Well I'm a bit torn now. Dad and uncle went to see this over the week and it is pretty damn tidy!

Pretty much as described, only a couple of very small parking dents, slight hesitancy at part throttle and a of paint touch ups being any problems.

The lowest he's looking to go on price is £1350. Currently waiting to hear back from Endsleigh about insurance, lowest i've found is about £1200, About £400 more than i'm paying for the ZX currently.

Can't make my mind up whether I could get more for my money elsewhere.

For the money, you won't get anything as rare with as much potential I dont think.

You could probably get a not too bad 205 GTI with original engine for that money, maybe even stretch to a clio 172, but insurance on that will be mental if the AX is £1200.

Have a look and see if there's anything else you fancy. I'd be sorely tempted to go for it though at £1350

Going back up north this weekend now that uni exams are finished so will be picking it up soon.

Seems like 205 is not as weak as AX. For hard driving, rallye or track days especially - AX has too weak construction.

But it's funny, and fast. But it has even more lift-off oversteering effect than 205, should be careful with it.

Well the AX is mine!!!

Haven't driven it on much other that dual carriageway so far which is.......noisy! Build quality is hilariously poor.

It's pretty speedy though, can see it being rather amusing on a good road.

Few minor niggles to sort but other than that it is very clean.

Will post some pictures up tomorrow! Might even start a project thread if I very bored of my over 2 month holiday before placement begins :D

Put a Saxo CUp engine in it and make a life insurance, that's what i've got to say.

There was one over where I live that got a turbo conversion and smoked everything in it's way, civic's, golf gti's , etc.
