Where To Get Front Shock Bolts?

where can I get the bolt that tightens the hub around the front shocks?

I can find plenty of the pinch bolts for the wishbone but cant seem to find the other ones? Im sure a few people on here used to do 'uprated' ones?

I don't personally see the need for that one to be uprated, but it would be easy enough to just take the old one to a fastening supplier and they'll be able to supply a replacement that is the same length/thread and in the required high tensile grade if desired (standard will be 8.8 and most of the uprated bolts are either 10.9 or 12.9)

 

It's the other pinch bolt that clamps the wishbone balljoint pin into the hub that is prone to stretching and allowing the hub to oval.

can;t remember specifically with these, but the heads are normally 16mm and fit in a slight cutout, so you may well need to get to a dealer.

 

however you should be fine to re-use them but with just a new Nyloc nut.
