Temperature Sensor Gauge

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys,

My temperature sensor inside the CTI doesnt go all the way down when completely cold, it starts about half way to the second bar, is this normal or should i change the sensor?

Thanks

John

sounds more like your clocks have been out at some point and the needles have been removed and put back in INcorrectly to me

from what you say the guage travel sounds like its in the right amount of swing from cold to normal. if you could borrow a spare clock or even pop out a friends sometime soon just to connect up to see what it reads when yours is at "normal" temparature, as in where yours usually goes to most of the time so youll know for sure. the temp light at the end of the guage will work properly regardless of where the temp guage is as long as its own sensor works and is wired up ok and the bulb works.
