Found this the other day whilest sorting out some boxes of spares, not sure what it is? i assume its some sort of air device?

Any ideas?

probably, though could be an intank one, not familiar with montego's but its probably a low pressure ticker pump as its listed for a 2.0 carb Montego.

range rovers have these on their v8 carb'ed engines, the older rangies.

 

I used to have to tap my dads old 1 with a hammer every so often to encourage it, bloody things!
