Sad To See It Go :(

After 12 months of umm-ing and ahh-ing about selling the 205, last week it was driven off by someone with an unenviable 5 hour journey back to Cumbria in the rain. So sad to see my first ever car disappear round the corner after 6 years of ownership!

 

This forum has been so helpful to me, the mods should be proud of such a friendly and information packed forum with many helpful members who never shy away from offering advice. Top work guys!

 

I have never really been a regular poster on here, but i guess this will be one of my last. Although I will post a for sale thread soon with all sorts of 205 spares that I've gathered over the last few years.

 

For the mean time, I've got my van to get me around and have been looking into 350z ownership. Driven a few over the last couple of weekends and I have to say I'm very impressed!

That's what most people say and then end up getting another 205 at some point lol - best of luck with the Nissan. I've been umming and arring too with thoughts of an S2000. Trouble is i know i'll want another 205 again at some point.

i am on my 3rd 205 gti and have happily resigned myself to the fact that i am hooked and never selling my current one but am gonna get another more practical car having just welcomed my new daughter to the family i reluctantly have to say i need something with a bigger boot and more doors! which the wife is very happy about but i am not!

I'll never forget it thats for sure, but whether I'll get another one or not remains uncertain. My girlfriend was shocked that I actually sold it, and is convinced that she will come home from work one day to find another on the driveway. Maybe ill prove her right one day, just to see her face!

 

I have to say I'm keen to drive something a bit newer and less rattly for now though.
