Convert 1.9 Wishbones To Use Rose Joint

Flicking through the forum I could swear I spotted some standard 1.9 wishbones with bosses welded in to take rose joints at the ball joint end.

 

Does anyone know whom made these?

It is quite a common modification, weld a threaded boss into the end of the lower arm (1.6 and 1.9 GTI are the same by the way).

If you read through you will find quite a bit of discussion regarding welding technique and also rose joint spec & size. All I will say is that lots of gravel rally 205's use this type of arm without a problem, so as long as they are done well then there is no problem.
