Rear Window Glass Seal Perished! Does The Glass Have To Come Out?

Hi, I need to replace the rear window glass rubber seal. Anyone know the score??

you need to push from the inside out, if its perished it should come out a little easier. 2 man job obviously

Ok. Any ideas where to get a new one first Allye? Shall go down the Auto glass route or auto five or something?

Hang on, do you mean boot glass as I was talking about rear quarter glass!

if you mean the tailgate glass trim, its just that, a trim piece as the glass is bonded in.

no need for glue, it just pushes in, you'll get one from peugeot for about £22.

so can you pull this out and re-use it? got some rust on the bottom of my boot glass / windows so want ti touch it up. would be easy if the rubber seal pulls out easily.

bet its not in stock and when they order it it will be the wrong one.
