Will a 1.1 litre carb fit a 950cc?

Are the jets different?

More than likely the same fitment but will have different jets, that's just speculation though.

a haynes manual should have all the imformation you need, i remember looking at one for a 205 and it listed all the different carbs on different models, and jet sizes. ebay my man ebay

Unless I am mistaken this is specifically in the Haynes Owners Workshop Manual rather than the later type. Most easily distinguishable by the fact that the cut-away 205 on the front is not coloured red.

Aye, got me a hardcopy of this book, picked it up years ago in France. Far far superior to the Haynes!

I saw a copy in a supermarche in Dunkerque but I didn't buy it 'cos assumed I'd be able to get it cheaper on line. Needless to say I couldn't.

Thanks to Christopher for the link though.

Well a 1.1 solex 32 fits on the 950cc and seams to run perfect so not altering the jets.

I'm a bit concerned about the plastic swirl pot from the 1.1..

It has a fuel return which I havent used but the 950cc never had it.
