i thought they all had harness seat belts like the 4 point harness not road seat belts, is this a replica??

You have the choice of either harnesses or normal seat belts on the road cars. There is 2 slots in the seat backs for the harnesses to go through. You can only have either or, in at one time as the seat belt buckle is in the road of the lap strap of the harness.

Your 1.6gti appears to be slightly modified there...

Really? Are we actually taking that seriously then?

I wasn't asking when i stated what i stated earlier.

It's the rarity that drives the price up - I remember reading articles on these at the time and they really weren't that great as road cars.

I find it very odd that it hasn't been kept original - it's like buying a Rolex and sticking diamontes to it to 'add value'.

 You're joking right? A clio v6 was just a gimmick, it has nothing like the credentials of a special limited build for homologation purposes car.

So you think they've become rarer than they were just a couple of years ago to the point where they're worth double?!

I really should've bought the one i knew, put some stickers on it and made a ridiculous profit...

I spotted this one advertised in Classic and Sportscar this month.

At 80k it does seem kinda steep but nothing compared to the 'real thing'.... advertised elsewhere (but I can't find and online ad for it) is the 205 T16 EVO2 that won the 1986 RAC rally.... at an eye-watering £800k.

Some price tag. Plenty other cars I'd own before spending £80k on a 20 odd year old 205.

White one's a bit more realistic, but i'd still want one that's a bit more used/usable.

If I didn't rally for about 8 years I'd be able to buy it. But I rally and the money goes to that instead.

How about £90000-£120000 for a black one? We've got a week to save up before the auction :P

Thought all the road T16s were grey so guess this one must have been a special order?

The black one I linked to previously sold for £112000 at auction on Thursday..

A T16 would seriously be my first car buy following a lottery win. They are literally my favourite car......ever.

May be helping de-sticker this shortly as seller hates them with a passion!
