Derv Help!

Well the time has come where i need to spend some time on my Derv (which i was trying to avoid) as the clutch has finally started to slip and the1.8D's are gutless enough without the clutch slipping

 

I was just wondering how hard would it be to rip the 1.8 out and drop a 1.9dt Lucas pump engine in it??

since iv got engine with the gearbox

 

 

There is a few bits i need some help on that i cant work out how to go about !!

 

 

Exhaust

I got part of the downpipe off the 306 so just needs welding to 205 exhaust as i think it will be different

 

Gearbox

Do i use my old box to make things easier?

or do i use the 306 box and change the inner joints over and selector arm?

 

Coolant hoses

All but two im stuck with

The one that comes off the oil cooler and the two that comes out the top of the head that joins into one

 

 

I think the little one will go to the return on the expansion bottle?

 

 

Fuel filter

What is the best way of removing the 205 diesel filter as the 306 engine has it?

would a meter of fuel hose do it?
