Will Eastman 6 Posted April 9, 2012 I have done a search but havnt found anything to help, the car has failed the MOT on a foglight not working. I have tested the volts across the fog light plug and its showing about 6 volts. I have cleaned up the light housing and it is showing continuity between the spade connectors and the terminals on the housing. By my understanding this would mean that the bulb is getting 6v but it is not lighting up. Will the bulb only light up if it gets the full 12v?
welshpug 1,646 Posted April 9, 2012 you probably need to cut back the wires a little though if you're lucky just the plug terminals.
