Ive just phoned up Wycliffe Peugeot in Rugby to ask for a price on Piston Rings and the liner O rings and thrust washers! Bear in mind they are open til 5.30pm!

Ive already had someone from waaaaaaay up north give a rough guide n a price and said somethin about them going on back order blah blah blah! So basically i know i can get them from peugeot should i decided i want to!

 

Anyways this guy immediately tells me that he tried that item the other day on a 205 GTi and they cant get them......didnt even feckling look! Just said no defo cant get them.... me thinks he just couldnt be bothered because its nearly home time! :angry:

so does anyone know anywhere reasonably priced where i can get these items from? its all i have left to buy to complete my engine rebuild

next time you call up, tell him to stick 640 61 in his pipe and smoke it

 

they're £34.60 per piston though, so I'd go elsewhere, most motorfactors do stiff like this.

ahh I missed you needed thrust washers and the liner seals too.

so you need to work out which one you need, looks like some are sold in pairs others individually.

 

also 0112 A7 is the 4 liner seals in one packet at £5.05
