206 Rear Beam

Looking for a 1.6 206cc rear beam, are all the rear disk beams the same (i.e GTI)?

Was looking at refurbing it, although I'm assuming they are similar to a saxo beam where the bearings sit inside the trailing arm and slide over the tube at end of the beam? And that the end of the beam that the bearings rotate on are not replaceable?

much like a saxo beam indeed, one of the bearings is the same part number iirc, the shafts can be replaced but not with a Peugeot part, a company called IM axle do them.

 

would imagine torsion bar sizes vary but any disc beam should do and you can swap the torsion bars if required.

I've got a 206 GTI180 beam, pretty sure they have thicker TB's and ARB's over the standard GTI beam and also have removeable control arm things if you're after an upgrade.
