Adjusting Mileage On Dials

Recommended Posts

Not being the everyday job in guessing the average garage can't do this and I wouldn't know how to DIY it personally.

Has anyone on here ever had there mileage changed when you've swooped dials..?

It's not difficult to do and I routinely adjust the mileage on any clocks I sell to match the car into which they're going.

However, I am absolutely not going to describe how to do it on a public forum for very obvious reasons when there's already enough poor sods getting screwed over with "low mileage" cars with "lost" history, and I won't put up information to aid that practice - the same way I nor anyone else will not post up how to break into a 205 or how to bypass 99% of immobiliser installations.

Assuming this is the set that you're getting off Ali, I'm likely to be seeing him at some point in the near future anyhow and am happy to adjust the mileage on the clocks for you if he brings them with him and you supply a photo of your existing odometer.
