Liner Seals Mi16 1.9

Hello,

 

I was putting the liners into my mi16 at the weekend, and i was wondering if there was any correct way to do it?

 

This is what i did, greased the liner and the seal slid the seal to the top ridge on the liner then pushed the liner into its slot.

 

 

Also is there anyway to determin which is the exhaust cam and which is the inlet cam?

The key way lines up with the #4 cyl lobes for the inlet. It also has a slot in the other end for dizzy drive. On exhaust cam the key is offset approx 70º to the #4 lobes and the other end is only tapped for the PAS pulley.
