right ive got 3 sensors on my thermostat housing , the main ecu coolant temp sensor , and 2 spade type sensors , 1 for the temp guage and the clocks . whats is the other for ? thanks

I believe its for the temperature warning light

One is for the coolant temperature gauge, and the other is for the high coolant temperature warning light
