What Oil For Gti6 Engine For Track And Fast Road Use

what oil is everyone using? i want to do an oil and filter change ready for combe at the end of the month as its not been done since last year and i've done 2 trackdays and drag racing.

are there oils that dont get as hot on track? as i was finding that on track last week the oil temp goes upto 3\4 on the guage pretty quick, it never goes above 2 lines on the road. i know the next step is to fit an oil cooler but want to avoid that if possible.

I run comma 5w50 and a 13 row cooler on my track 6 engine. It's not shat itself yet so I rekon it's good stuff

cheers for all your replies, i have ordered some 5w40 pro s from opie oils, quite expensive but cheaper than the engine blowing.
