Old School Vs New School

Recommended Posts

CaptainP

Well not really any versus battles, but I know which one puts a smile on my face everytime I drive it! I gave the old girl a bit of spit and polish this week, she's come up looking pretty tidy and ready for the summer.

Thanks to all the forum members who help me with advice etc to keep her running smooth.

Steve

Got a leon Cupra tdi 150 which is fun as a daily driver, and MASSIVELY looking forward to getting my gti back from Miles in the coming weeks for some real driving experience!!!

Ain't it the truth.

I drive a Focus to work, and though its a pretty decent steer, its nothing compared to the little 205. The pug is always an adventure, and when it's a nice warm evening there is nowhere else i'd rather be than pushing it along some country lanes with the sunroof down. Bliss!

Old School every time. Currently driving a Skoda Superb everyday and the Mrs' MX-5 at the weekend. The Skoda is a good car and I enjoy the MX-5, which is cracking fun for a new car, but I am gagging to get the 205 out again and point it down a decent road.

That's assuming it passes it's MoT, having been stood up since 2008. I am also missing the joy of having something to fix every weekend!
