Manifold/downpipe Seal

Hi All,

 

Fitting a new exhaust using new cone seal from dealers. Does this seal fit dry or should I use exhaust pste on it ?

The downpipe seal just pushes onto the end off the manifold and the down pipe fits over all dry without any paste that's how I fit them. This seal is designed to allow movement between the engine and exhaust system while maintaining a gas tight seal so exhaust paste would soon break up id imagine and not do anything.
